Joe was our real estate agent on a new build from Element 119- he did not fairly represent us, only had the buyers interest in mind. If you ever pointed out that his information didn't line up with facts he'd assure you that you've just miss-remembered the information. He doesn't know the houses he's selling, will make promises of features that aren't there and when that's later realized he will say "well it'll be a beautiful house" and completely dismiss your concerns, making you feel "silly" for caring about the fact that you've been given incorrect information about the 30 year commitment your making. After a huge mistake made by the builder he works with happens, and all the events that followed makes you question the integrity of craftsmanship of the home you're buying, he will try to manipulate you into "closing the deal" and forgetting about it. In the final days of our contract I left him an important, time sensitive, voicemail that he never returned; a day and a half later when I called again, he admitted that he got that voicemail and simply chose not to respond, because he didn't agree with the contents. He also made sexist remarks to my fiancee about me when he was unaware he was on speaker phone, so that's just a fun bonus.
But Iowa Realty will stand behind him assure that all of this was "ethical" behavior.
